What Are the Benefits of an Outplacement Service?
Outplacement services provide benefits to both the business organization and the employee. For both employers and employees, outplacement services provide helpful resources and support to ease the transition of the employee out of the organization. Employees will get career guidance as they enter the job market, which will help set them up for success in a new opportunity.
What Are Some Ways You Provide Outplacement Service?
We can provide outplacement services on either an individual or group basis. If you choose to provide individual services, each transitioning employee will receive a personalized program with a coach where they can build a unique transition plan to meet their needs. Should you be transitioning a number of employees at the same time, we can provide group workshops to all affected employees together. This group setting may help employees feel more supported and comfortable as it will include coworkers who are going through the same situation.
What Is the Difference Between Training & Leadership Development?
While both training and leadership development are a way for employees to gain new skills, there is a difference between the two. Training refers to teaching an employee how to complete role-specific tasks, whereas leadership development is much more in-depth. The skills learned during leadership development can be applied to nearly any career and even to life in general. These programs will provide your employees with the essential skills and tools needed to succeed in their roles. It can be a great way to help those employees you are planning to promote to management positions.
What Topics Do You Address in Leadership Development Programs?
The purpose of our leadership programs is to help leaders and managers develop important skills to advance their careers. We offer both individual and group programs that use a variety of coaching methods to help develop stronger management and leadership skills. Through leadership assessments, individual coaching, or our public workshops, our variety of options offer several ways to learn valuable skills, regardless of learning style. While we offer a long list of programs, some of the primary topics we address include:
- Communication skills
- Conflict management
- Employee engagement
- Dealing with difficult people
- Successful networking
- Negotiation skills
- Managing a remote workforce
- And more!
What does a workplace investigation entail?
Each situation will be very different depending on the details of the complaint. We will work with you to get a full understanding of the situation at hand prior to assigning an experienced investigator to complete the actual investigation. A detailed report will be provided once the investigation has been completed, allowing your organization to make appropriate decisions moving forward.
What is workplace restoration?
Many organizations find that after a workplace investigation has been completed, there is a need for coaching and/or team-building services to support the functioning of employees and teams moving forward. We provide individual coaching at all levels, as well as team workshops aimed at building the critical people skills required to minimize conflict and enhance communication and trust in the workplace.
How can I prevent a loss of knowledge when an employee leaves?
Through our knowledge capture and transfer process, we can efficiently guard against the loss of critical knowledge when a skilled employee leaves the organization. This unique process provides an organized view of a person’s role and responsibilities, providing great benefit to management, successors, and organizations in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, and organizational development.
